A disturbing incident unfolded in Berhampur city on Monday when a young couple was brutally beaten up with bamboo sticks in the middle of Giri Road in full public view, as passers-by looked without any help. 

The video capturing the brutal attack quickly went viral on social media, showing two men striking the victims repeatedly while a few panicked passersby tried to intervene. The violent assault caused chaos among local commuters, highlighting growing concerns over public safety in the city.
