Netflix confirmed the development through its official social media handles, stating, “DHURANDHAR THE REVENGE (Raw & Undekha) is coming to Netflix in the US & Canada tomorrow.” (sic)

While audiences in the US and Canada are preparing for the film’s release, Indian viewers are still awaiting clarity regarding its OTT premiere in the country.

Directed by Aditya Dhar, the sequel — commonly referred to as Dhurandhar 2 — has continued the strong momentum of the franchise since its theatrical debut.

Pakistan Reacts Strongly To The Film’s OTT Premiere

Even before its release in the US and Canada, the film has already sparked massive discussion in Pakistan after reportedly premiering there. The movie, which faced bans in the Middle East and several other regions due to its anti-Pakistan narrative, has triggered both criticism and curiosity online.

Amid debates around the film being labelled propaganda by some viewers, a Pakistani content creator claimed that Netflix servers crashed shortly after the movie became available because of overwhelming traffic.

According to reports circulating online, the film’s premiere in Pakistan allegedly resulted in heavy viewership on the streaming platform despite backlash surrounding its subject matter. Pakistani content creator Maviya Umer Farooqui, who runs the Instagram page @kaam_wali_baat, shared a video claiming Netflix faced technical issues moments after the release.

He said, “Dhurandhar released in Pakistan today itself, and the server crashed almost immediately. Pakistanis had been eagerly waiting for Netflix to drop the film at midnight so everyone could click and watch it together. That’s the level of craze Dhurandhar has generated here. Whether the film shows the truth or not is a different matter, but people in Pakistan are curious to see how the movie has been made. Everyone already has an idea about Ranveer Singh’s character. Whether such incidents actually happened in Lyari or not is a separate debate.”
