Emotional scene in Puri as parents pray for son’s recovery at Jagannath Temple

In a deeply emotional and distressing display of faith and desperation, a couple from Kendrapara district arrived at Jagannath Temple, Puri on Saturday seeking divine intervention for the recovery of their six-year-old son, who has been suffering from a serious and reportedly incurable medical condition.

According to reports, the parents, overwhelmed by prolonged illness and limited improvement despite continued medical treatment, turned to Lord Jagannath in hope of a miracle. In an emotionally charged moment outside the Singhadwar (Lion’s Gate) of the temple, the couple placed their ailing child on a banana leaf and symbolically offered him at the feet of Lord Jagannath, praying fervently for his recovery and relief from suffering.
