A shocking health crisis has emerged from Odisha’s Angul district where a small village is battling a deadly wave of kidney disease. Families are losing young members one after another, raising serious questions about toxic drinking water and public health safety.

In Mahidharpada village under Khinda Panchayat, more than 20 people have reportedly died in the last few years due to kidney-related illness. Most victims were between 20 and 40 years old. Even today, several villagers remain bedridden and critically ill.

Locals fear contaminated water may be silently spreading this deadly disease across households. The tragic situation has created panic and heartbreak in the entire area.
