After years of dating rumours, fan theories and endless speculation, Tejasswi Prakash and Karan Kundrra have officially stepped into a new phase of their relationship. The much-loved television couple, fondly called TejRan by fans, got engaged in Dubai, and the emotional proposal was showcased in Netflix’s reality series, Desi Bling.

The romantic moment saw Karan surprising Teju with a dreamy setup before asking the life-changing question. The actress was visibly emotional as the proposal unfolded on screen.

Rajiv Adatia took to social media to celebrate the couple’s milestone and shared a screenshot from a late-night video call with Karan and Tejasswi. In the image, Tejasswi could be seen proudly flaunting her sparkling diamond ring.

Sharing his excitement, Rajiv wrote, “Are you freaking kidding me! About bloody time! As you can see Inwas shocked as hell!The love story that annoyed the crap of me in BB finally you getting married! Sooo happy for you guys,” while adding that his predictions always come true. He further joked, “See my predictions always come true! Also predicted twins!”

According to Rajiv, the couple got engaged a few months ago, but decided to keep the news private until Desi Bling premiered on May 20.

Inside The Emotional Proposal On Desi Bling

One of the standout moments from the show featured Karan planning an elaborate proposal for Tejasswi. The venue was decorated beautifully before the actor went down on one knee and asked her, ‘Will You Marry Me?’

Completely overwhelmed, Tejasswi responded emotionally, saying, “I am shivering. My hands are not going to stop.”

The couple had managed to keep the engagement under wraps until the episode aired, making the reveal even more special for fans. 

A Love Story That Began Inside Bigg Boss

Karan Kundrra and Tejasswi Prakash first connected during their stint on Bigg Boss 15. Their chemistry quickly became one of the biggest highlights of the season, eventually turning into a real-life romance after the show ended. The duo reportedly began dating in 2022 and have since become one of television’s most adored celebrity couples.

Their families share a close bond as well, and the actors are often spotted celebrating festivals, birthdays and family occasions together.

Interestingly, after the engagement episode aired, fans dug up an old social media post shared by Karan on April 11, 2025, where he had dismissed rumours about getting engaged in Dubai.

At the time, the actor had reacted strongly to the constant speculation and wrote, “I’m sick of you marrying me off this year or next, announcing my engagement on a reality show, just coz we’re in Dubai.”

He had also urged people to verify such reports with him or his manager before spreading rumours online.

Karan had further added, “Abhi thoda zyaada ho ra hai nai??? Meri shaadi/engagement/roka/bacha/breakup/midlife crisis mein khud announce kar loon,” a statement that is now going viral again after the official reveal.
