BRICS second technical meeting to be held in Puri from June 3

The holy city of Puri is set to host the second BRICS technical meeting beginning June 3, bringing together representatives and experts from BRICS member nations and partner countries for discussions on strengthening international cooperation in disaster management.
According to official information, the high-level meeting will witness the participation of delegates and experts from several countries associated with the BRICS grouping. Representatives from Brazil, Egypt, Ethiopia, Indonesia, and Iran are expected to attend the conference.
Delegations from Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and China will also participate in the important gathering.
The meeting is expected to serve as a key platform for deliberations on global strategies and collaborative approaches in the field of disaster preparedness, response, mitigation, and management. Discussions will primarily focus on enhancing international cooperation and sharing best practices among nations to effectively tackle natural and man-made disasters.
