In an inspiring achievement, Snigdhamayee Swain has successfully cleared the prestigious Odisha Civil Services (OCS)-2024 examination in her very first attempt, securing Rank 59. The results were announced by the Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) on Tuesday.

Hailing from Kakatpur, Snigdhamayee expressed happiness and satisfaction over her performance and achievement. She shared that her success was the result of nearly two-and-a-half years of dedicated preparation backed by a well-planned strategy.

According to Snigdhamayee, she focused on integrated preparation for both the preliminary and main examinations. Maintaining a disciplined routine, she studied for six to seven hours every day and emphasised that a proper strategy played a key role in helping her crack the examination in her first attempt.

Sharing her success mantra, she highlighted the importance of self-study and effective use of social media platforms for accessing study materials and strengthening conceptual understanding. She said aspirants can achieve success through focused preparation and smart learning methods.

Snigdhamayee also credited her success to the constant support and encouragement from her parents, aunt, uncle, and close friends. She thanked God and acknowledged the role of her family members and well-wishers in motivating her throughout her journey.

After completing her graduation, she was inspired by a friend to pursue a career in civil services. Her achievement has brought immense joy to her family, who are celebrating the success with pride.

With Rank 59, Snigdhamayee remains hopeful of securing a position in the Revenue Department. Offering advice to aspiring candidates, she urged them to remain patient, stay self-motivated, and follow a proper strategy while preparing for the examinations.
