June is arriving with an overloaded OTT calendar packed with fantasy epics, family dramas, thrillers, rom-coms and high-stakes action. Streaming giants like Netflix, JioHotstar, Apple TV+, SonyLIV and Prime Video are bringing back fan-favourite franchises while also introducing fresh new stories.

From Madhuri Dixit hiding a corpse in a cramped house to the return of dragons in House of the Dragon, here are the biggest titles worth adding to your binge list this month.

Early June Releases Bring Comedy, Crime And Sports Drama

JioHotstar opens the month with workplace comedy Not Suitable for Work on June 2. Created by Mindy Kaling, the series stars Avantika in a chaotic office setup.

A day later, documentary series Michael Jackson: The Verdict revisits the controversial trial involving the late pop icon. 

Netflix’s sports comedy Mexico 86, starring Diego Luna, also lands on June 5 amid FIFA World Cup fever.

Maa Behen, Gullak 5 And Patriot Headline Indian OTT Releases

One of the most anticipated Hindi releases this month is Maa Behen on Netflix. Directed by Suresh Triveni, the dark comedy follows a struggling mother and her daughters — played by Madhuri Dixit, Triptii Dimri and Dharna Durgaa — whose lives spiral into chaos after they are forced to hide a dead body at home.

SonyLIV’s beloved middle-class drama Gullak returns on June 5 with the Mishra family navigating modern-day problems after getting Wi-Fi installed at home.

Meanwhile, Zee5 premieres spy thriller Patriot starring Mammootty, Mohanlal, Fahadh Faasil and Nayanthara.

Romance, Mystery And Neo-Noir Take Over Mid-Month

Apple TV+ thriller Cape Fear reimagines the classic psychological thriller with Javier Bardem playing a criminal seeking revenge on the family that put him behind bars.

Netflix also releases rom-com Office Romance starring Jennifer Lopez as a corporate executive whose rivalry at work slowly turns romantic. 

Prime Video’s Every Year After adapts Carley Fortune’s bestselling novel into a friends-to-lovers romance spread across several summers.

On June 18, Netflix premieres I Will Find You, where Sam Worthington plays a father who escapes prison after discovering his supposedly dead son may still be alive.

The next day, Apple TV+ brings back Sugar with Colin Farrell returning as detective John Sugar for another strange missing-person case.

JioHotstar’s Thukra Ke Mera Pyaar also returns on June 19, reigniting the revenge-fuelled conflict between Shanvika and Kuldeep.

Dragons Return, Pandora Expands And The Bear Ends

The biggest fantasy release of the month arrives on June 22 with House of the Dragon. The new season finally stages the long-awaited Battle of the Gullet as the Targaryen civil war grows deadlier.

Sci-fi spectacle Avatar: Fire and Ash begins streaming on JioHotstar on June 24. James Cameron continues the Pandora saga as Jake Sully and his family face a dangerous new Na’vi clan.

FX’s critically acclaimed The Bear premieres on June 25 and marks the emotional final chapter for Carmy, Richie and Sydney.

The same day, Netflix drops Avatar: The Last Airbender as Aang journeys deeper into the Earth Kingdom while preparing for the looming war.

Closing the month is Netflix comedy Little Brother starring John Cena and Eric André as two wildly mismatched brothers whose reunion turns into complete madness.
