Popular Bollywood singer and rapper Mika Singh visited Srimandir in Puri on Friday afternoon and offered prayers to Lord Jagannath. 

Expressing his happiness over the visit, the singer said he feels blessed to have received the opportunity to visit Puri for the second consecutive time with the blessings of Lord Jagannath.

Mika stated that he has come to Odisha at the invitation of a friend. However, he added that he believes it was ultimately the divine call of Lord Jagannath that brought him back to the sacred temple town once again.

Mika arrived at the temple accompanied by a Sikh religious leader. After reaching the temple premises, he participated in rituals at the Singhadwara and later proceeded for darshan of the deities. He offered prayers and sought blessings from the holy Trinity.

The singer further expressed his deep devotion towards Lord Jagannath and said that if he continues to receive Lord’s blessings, he would love to sing devotional bhajans dedicated to Lord Jagannath in the future.

His visit drew attention from devotees and fans present near the temple premises, adding a touch of celebrity presence to the spiritual atmosphere of the pilgrim city.

“I feel fortunate to receive the divine blessings of Lord Jagannath. Whenever I come here, I am blessed with a beautiful darshan of the Lord. Very soon, I will sing a bhajan dedicated to Lord Jagannath,” said Mika Singh.
