Tejasswi Prakash says her mom encouraged live-in with Karan Kundrra before wedding plans
Actors Tejasswi Prakash and Karan Kundrra have once again become the talk of the town after revealing intimate details about their relationship and future plans. The couple, who recently got engaged on Netflix show Desi Bling, opened up about marriage, family approval, and why Teju’s mother encouraged them to live together before taking the next big step.
The duo, whose romance blossomed inside the Bigg Boss 15 house, reflected on how their bond evolved despite public skepticism and constant scrutiny.
Tejasswi’s Mother Insisted Live-in Relationship!
During a candid chat with Angad Bedi and Neha Dhupia on their YouTube podcast, Karan revealed how Tejasswi’s parents reacted to their relationship.
“Her mother said that she doesn’t trust her daughter at all, and I should take time to think about her, because she isn’t fine. Her father was okay with our relationship,” Karan shared with a laugh.
Tejasswi further explained that her mother wanted both of them to understand each other completely before marriage.
“She wanted to make sure he was comfortable. My mom was the one who insisted we stayed in a live-in before we decide to get married. So many people are against it, but my mom thinks that we should live together and see,” she said.
From Doubts to a Stronger Bond
Recalling how their relationship first took shape inside the reality show, Karan said, “That (Bigg Boss) is where the fondness started.”
Teju admitted she did not rush into the relationship initially and carefully observed Karan’s intentions before fully trusting him.
“When he said that he likes me, I really felt like he seems really honest. I took my time to really test him. I just wanted to make sure that he really means what he is saying, and he proved it every time,” she said.
Speculations Around TejRan’s Romance Longevity
Like many celebrity couples formed on reality television, Tejasswi Prakash and Karan Kundrra also faced constant speculation about the longevity of their romance. The couple revealed that several people had predicted their relationship would fade quickly after the show ended.
