OPSC withdraws dental surgeon recruitment advertisement; applications cancelled, exam fees to be refunded

The Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) on Wednesday has officially withdrawn the advertisement issued for the recruitment of Dental Surgeons, bringing a major update for thousands of applicants across the state. The commission has also clarified that all applications submitted under the recruitment notification stand cancelled.

In a formal notice released by OPSC, it was stated that the decision has been taken to withdraw the recruitment advertisement for Dental Surgeon posts. Following this move, the entire application process associated with the notification has been rendered void. Candidates who had applied for the posts will no longer be considered under the earlier recruitment drive.

 

Applications Cancelled, Fee Refund Announced

OPSC has further confirmed that all applications submitted by eligible candidates for the Dental Surgeon recruitment have been cancelled. This comes as a setback for aspirants who had been preparing for the examination process after the notification was issued.

It has been officially stated that the examination fees collected from applicants will be refunded. The refund process is expected to be carried out as per the guidelines that will be issued by OPSC in due course.
