Odisha CHSE Plus 2 results for Science, Commerce and Arts announced; girls outshine boys in all streams

The Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE), Odisha on Wednesday declared the results of the annual Plus Two examinations for all streams, with the overall pass percentage rising to 85.85 per cent this year.
The results were officially announced by Odisha School and Mass Education Minister Nityananda Gond. Compared to last year’s overall pass percentage of 83.45 per cent, the state recorded an improvement of 2.4 percentage points this year.
Girls Outshine Boys Across Streams
A total of 3,41,781 students successfully cleared the examination across Science, Arts, Commerce and Vocational streams. Girls outperformed boys in all streams this year, continuing the trend of better performance in higher secondary examinations.
Science Records 88.80% Pass Rate
In the Science stream, out of 1,14,363 students who appeared for the examination, the overall pass percentage stood at 88.80 per cent. While the pass percentage among boys was 87.41 per cent, girls registered a higher success rate of 90.24 per cent.
Arts Stream Registers 84.50% Success Rate
The Arts stream recorded a pass percentage of 84.50 per cent. A total of 2,56,707 students had appeared in the stream. Girls significantly outperformed boys with a pass percentage of 89.45 per cent against 77.97 per cent among boys.
Commerce And Vocational Results
In Commerce, 24,621 students appeared for the examination and the overall pass percentage stood at 88.07 per cent. The pass percentage among boys was 86.67 per cent, while girls once again performed better with 90.43 per cent results.
The Vocational stream recorded an overall pass percentage of 77.82 per cent. Girls secured a pass percentage of 83.43 per cent, surpassing boys who registered 71.49 per cent.

Students Can Check Results Online
Students can access and download their provisional mark sheets online by visiting CHSE Odisha Official Website, Odisha Results Portal and DigiLocker using their roll number and registration details.
The online scorecard includes subject-wise marks, overall scores, grades secured and qualifying status of the students.
