The process for Undergraduate (UG) admissions across Odisha will begin from May 27, as the Higher Education Department on Monday officially announced the admission schedule and application guidelines.

According to the notification issued by the department, students aspiring to take admission into various Undergraduate programmes across the state can submit their applications online through the Student Academic Management System (SAMS) portal. The online system has been designed to streamline the admission process, improve transparency, and ensure easier access for all eligible candidates.

The department has advised students to carefully read the instructions before filling out the application forms and ensure that all details are entered correctly to avoid errors during the selection process. Candidates are also urged to keep all necessary documents, including academic certificates and identity proofs, ready while applying.

The application window for undergraduate admissions will remain open till June 10, giving students sufficient time to complete their registration and choose their preferred institutions and courses. The Higher Education Department has also encouraged students to regularly visit the SAMS portal for updates, notifications, and important announcements related to admission schedules and selection procedures. Officials have stated that the system aims to make the entire admission process more student-friendly, efficient, and transparent.
