Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi on Monday during his ongoing visit to the national capital. The meeting between the two leaders focused on Odisha’s infrastructure development, investment opportunities, and the implementation of key public welfare programmes across the State.

Sharing details of the meeting on his personal X handle, the Odisha Chief Minister stated that discussions were held on strategically accelerating infrastructure projects and exploring measures to attract further investments to Odisha. He also highlighted various welfare initiatives aimed at improving the quality of life for people across the State.

During the meeting, Mohan Majhi extended a formal invitation to Prime Minister Modi to attend the celebration marking two years of the BJP-led Odisha government’s dedicated service to the people. The Chief Minister also expressed his gratitude for the Prime Minister’s continued support and guidance in advancing Odisha’s overall development.

Today’s meeting in New Delhi is being regarded as highly significant, as the State government continues to prioritise industrial growth, infrastructure expansion, employment generation, and welfare-driven governance. Mohan Majhi is currently on an official tour of New Delhi and is expected to hold further discussions focused on Odisha’s developmental priorities.
