A video purportedly showing a group assault on two youths in broad daylight in Udala in Odisha‘s Mayurbhanj surfaced online. This drew attention to an incident that reportedly occurred close to Udala police station and prompted calls for action.

The video, which is said to be an old recording, recently went viral on social media. It allegedly captures three to four youths chasing and assaulting two young men in Ward No. 5 of Udala NAC.

According to reports, the incident took place barely 500 metres from the local police station. The viral footage purportedly shows the assailants attacking the two youths on a public road while pursuing them through the area.

One of the victims was reportedly left bleeding as a result of the assault.
