Director Hints At Moving Away From His Signature Style

During a recent interaction with film critic Baradwaj Rangan, Prashanth Neel revealed that Dragon would mark his final project in the hyper-stylised post-apocalyptic noir mass-action space — a cinematic template that became synonymous with both KGF and Salaar.

The statement immediately sparked speculation among fans, many of whom now believe that K.G.F: Chapter 3 and Salaar: Part 2 – Shouryaanga Parvam may no longer move forward under Neel’s direction.

KGF Chapter 3 Was Earlier Expected To Continue

The possibility of another KGF installment had been teased multiple times in the past. Following the phenomenal success of K.G.F: Chapter 2, both Neel and Yash had hinted at expanding the franchise further. Industry reports had also suggested that work on Chapter 3 would begin after the filmmaker and actor wrapped up their current projects. But the latest developments appear to have changed the equation significantly.
