Will Vaibhav Sooryavanshi be included in senior Indian team?

Former India head coach Ravi Shastri has thrown his full support behind teenage sensation Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, urging selectors to fast-track his entry into the senior Indian side. Impressed by the youngster’s fearless approach and explosive performances, Shastri believes age should not stand in the way of exceptional talent.

Speaking on a recent cricket discussion, Shastri said Sooryavanshi’s performances against seasoned bowlers show maturity far beyond his years. According to him, the teenager’s confidence and ability to dominate opponents much older than him make him ready for the international stage.

The former India coach suggested that India’s upcoming T20 assignments, particularly the Ireland tour, could be an ideal platform to introduce the youngster to the national setup. He stressed that T20 cricket often provides the best environment for nurturing promising talents and feels Sooryavanshi already possesses the game to succeed at the highest level.
