Another major shake-up in Odisha Police as a senior DSP comes under the scanner in a departmental investigation.

Ganjam DSP Vivekananda Swain is now facing an official inquiry ordered by the Home Department, adding to growing concerns within the police administration.

According to reports, he previously served as IIC of Golonthara Police Station and was recently promoted to DSP rank.

He was also involved in the investigation of the SI examination scam case and is alleged to have served in Ganjam district for nearly 16 years.

This development comes just a day after another SDPO was suspended, raising serious questions about ongoing irregularities and internal accountability within the police system.
